Saddleworth Show a huge success for 35th year

This Sunday (30th June) marked the 35th year of Saddleworth show that famously brings the community together to raise money for deserving causes.

From duck racing to vocal rising-stars and wood-fired pizza, the show this year brought an unforgettable atmosphere to the Well-I-Hole farm.
The weather stayed mostly dry and sunny, allowing people to make the most of the staged acts and set up their own picnic areas to embrace family time, with a bite to eat and drink.

Acts included Brazilian drummers Juba do Leão, The Crazy Tramps, Giant Elephant Puppets and a Fun Dog Show.

The show provided a show-case for local businesses, craft producers and charities, as well as bringing a significant number of visitors into the area, benefiting local shops.

Thousands flocked to the fields for a fabulous fun filled day of Vintage, classic cars and inflatables- while getting their hands-on a Grandpa Greene’s ice cream.

Revolution 96.2 attended with the cube and members of the street team handed out balloons to the public.
