Motorbike rider suffers serious injuries after collision in Littleborough

A motorbike rider has been rushed to hospital with serious injuries after colliding with a lamppost in Littleborough on Wednesday afternoon (19th June).

Greater Manchester Police were called by North West Ambulance Service to Halifax Road in Littleborough at around 2.30pm following reports of a collision.

When they arrived, they found the man had come off the road and collided with a lamppost between the Moorcock Inn and the White House.

The man, believed to be in his 30s, was taken to hospital where he remains in a serious condition although his injuries aren’t thought to be life-threatening.
