Man hunt launched after attempted burglary in Tameside

Police in Tameside have launched an investigation and say they’re hunting for a man in connection with an attempted burglary back in March.

It’s understood a man attempted to burgle a property on Ash Road in Denton at around 3am on Wednesday 20th March.

Damaged was caused to an external garage trying to gain entry and tried door handles around the property.

A man and woman in their 30s were inside at the time of the incident but thankfully weren’t injured.

Officers have been conducting a number of enquiries and are now appealing for the public’s help to identify a man they want to speak to in connection with the investigation.

Information can be given to police by calling 0161 856 9351 or emailing the officer in the case on 15432@gmp.police.uk.

Alternatively, information can be passed on to the independent charity Crimestoppers, anonymously, on 0800 555 111.
