Greater Manchester pair charged following robbery in Rochdale

Police investigating a robbery in Rochdale at knife-point last Wednesday night (29th May) have charged two people in connection with it.

41-year old Maceo Richard Williams, of Barchester Avenue in Bolton and Torainio Gardo Liburd, who’s also 41 and comes from Goodworth Walk in Manchester, appeared before Magistrates in Manchester on Friday (31st May) charged with robbery, possession of a bladed article and possession of Class A drugs.

They’ve been remanded in custody and are due to appear at Manchester Crown Court on Friday 28th June 2019.

It’s in connection with an incident shortly after 9pm on Wednesday (28th May) when police were called to a property in Littleborough following reports of a robbery.
