Fire crews battle blaze at Oldham building

Greater Manchester Fire and Rescue Service have spent the night battling a blaze at a commercial building in Oldham.

In all six fire engines attended the incident at a commercial building on Meek Street in Royton.

The extent of the fire hasn’t been released by the Fire Service but they have said crews used breathing apparatus and hose reels to tackle the fire.

It’s understood the blaze is now out with Manchester Fire Service scaling back their attendance at the scene.
