Just hours before they were pulling off one of the biggest upsets in the history of the FA Cup, Oldham Athletic were sweating on the future of a player who would become their match winner.
Discussions were ongoing between Latics and Wigan Athletic over the immediate future of striker Callum Lang with the Boundary Park club hoping they could extend his stay until the end of the season.
